Nixon Peabody Advises ASIG on Acquisition of PLH Aviation Services & Dryden Air Services; Client adds 16 new locations in Canada and expands presence at LAX

Nixon Peabody LLP is pleased to announce that ASIG, an industry leader in aviation services, has completed the acquisition of the trade and assets of PLH Aviation Services and Dryden Air Services. ASIG is part of BBA Aviation plc, a leading global aviation support and aftermarket services provider with market-leading businesses and attractive growth opportunities. With the acquisition complete, ASIG adds 16 new locations in Canada and enhances its market share at LAX.

PLH provides commercial aircraft refueling and fuel facility maintenance and operations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in the U.S. and 13 Canadian airports. Dryden operates at five Canadian airports providing a full complement of ground support services, such as ramp handling, cabin cleaning, passenger services, aircraft deicing, and aircraft refueling. Together, PLH and Dryden employ 625 trained service professionals.

Nixon Peabody LLP advised ASIG in the transaction. The deal team was led by partner John Koeppel, who also chairs Nixon’s Private Equity Funds practice, and counsel Jeremy Wolk.
