During his career, he has advised clients in connection with merger and acquisition transactions having an aggregate value in the billions of dollars. In addition, Gregory serves as outside general counsel to a variety of emerging growth companies in the high-tech, life sciences, and cleantech sectors. His work for these companies covers all aspects of their legal needs, including corporate formation, venture capital financing, executive compensation, general corporate matters, and intellectual property issues. As part of this area of his practice, Gregory co-chairs the firm’s SEEdling Program (Services for Emerging Entrepreneurs) which focuses on providing critical services to start-up technology companies being spun-out of universities. Further, Gregory represents private equity, venture capital, and angel investors in connection with their portfolio investments and has assisted clients in investing hundreds of millions of dollars in such transactions.
