He has extensive experience representing foreign and domestic corporations, airlines, and aviation manufacturing clients in the coordination and defense of complex and multidistrict casualty and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on issues related to federal and international jurisdiction, including suits involving foreign governments and their agencies or nationalized corporate entities. Brian Dalrymple has extensive experience as national and international litigation counsel for aircraft and helicopter manufacturers in connection with wrongful death, personal injury, and property damage suits in the United States and Canada. He also represents FAR Part 135 and Part 121 domestic, regional, and international airlines; cargo airlines and freight forwarders; aircraft avionics and component parts manufacturers; FAR Part 145 aviation maintenance and repair facilities; airports; fixed base operators; and aircraft equipment and finance entities. He has also represented medical device manufacturers in U.S. litigation involving cardiac pacemakers, prosthetic devices, and dental augmentation materials. Mr. Dalrymple has counseled aviation clients in more than fifty National Transportation Safety Board accident investigations and in a number of high-profile NTSB Public Hearings and FAA enforcement actions. He has also represented clients before the Federal Aviation Administration in connection with regulatory matters and HAZMAT issues. The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory has given Mr. Dalrymple its highest rating, AV. Mr. Dalrymple is an FAA licensed Airline Transport Pilot and a Certified Flight and Ground Instructor with ratings for single (CFI) and multiengine aircraft (MEI), as well as instrument aircraft (CFII). He has accumulated in excess of 5,500 hours of flight time in a variety of aircraft ranging from single engine trainers to multiengine turboprop and jet aircraft.
