Michael Taubin's practice is concentrated in the area of healthcare law. His principal areas of health care experience and practice include physician contracting and reimbursement, hospital-physician joint ventures, Independent Practice Associations, Accountable Care Organizations, Physician Practice Management Companies and Medical Group Practices.

Mr. Taubin regularly advises health care clients on a broad spectrum of issues unique to the healthcare industry, such as emerging developments in legislation and regulations, health care reform, federal and state anti-kickback and self-referral laws, physician reimbursement, state regulatory issues such as corporate practice of medicine and fee-splitting prohibitions, payor-provider arrangements, service contracts with providers and facilities and the expanding areas of compliance and liability of healthcare providers. Mr. Taubin counsels a wide array of clients, including voluntary and specialty hospitals, medical groups, physicians, for-profit health care companies, managed care entities, community health centers and employers establishing on-site clinics in their manufacturing facilities.
