Experience

Christine Sackett’s practice is concentrated in tax planning for individuals and in matters related to tax-exempt and nonprofit organizations, their fundraising, state regulation, taxation, and corporate governance. For many years, she oversaw the publication of the Warren Gorham & Lamont service, Charitable Giving and Solicitation, and was a regular contributor to the service.

Ms. Sackett has extensive experience in the implementation and maintenance of charitable gift annuity programs and in the creation, administration, and tax benefits of charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, pooled income funds, and private foundations.
