Experience

Jeffrey Tanenbaum chairs the firm’s labor and employment practice group and the firm’s national Occupational Safety & Health (OSHA) team. He represents employers in employment and labor relations litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Mr. Tanenbaum has extensive experience in, and has written and lectured on, OSHA, Cal-OSHA, MSHA, discriminatory and negligent hiring, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, collective bargaining, and arbitrations.

A Matthew Bender publication has described Mr. Tanenbaum as one of California’s leading employment litigators, and Mr. Tanenbaum has been named by The Recorder, a prestigious legal newspaper, as one of the Bay Area’s Top Employment Attorneys.

Mr. Tanenbaum has been recognized for exceptional standing in the legal community in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business 2009 for Labor and Employment work. He has also been recognized as a "Super Lawyer" by the publishers of the Northern California Super Lawyers magazine for 2009. Inclusion in Super Lawyers is based on a peer-review survey.
