Experience

Suvashis Bhattacharya counsels start up and Fortune 100 companies in strategy and patent portfolio management. He has experience in the mechanical, electro-mechanical, computer and electrical arts fields. Some representative fields include haptic systems, MEMS devices and fabrication processes, semiconductor devices and fabrication processes, medical devices, radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems, mobile technology, digital signal processing, computer architecture and software, fluid-cooling systems, filtration systems, optics, e-commerce and Internet applications and consumer electronics, as well as other matters.

Suvashis also focuses on the licensing and litigation of patents as well as patent due diligence matters. He also counsels clients on copyrights, trade dress, trademarks and trade secrets.

In July 2009, Suvashis was named a "Rising Star" by Law & Politics Media, Inc. based on a peer review survey of attorneys in California.  The "Rising Stars" are published annually in the California Super Lawyers Magazine.
