Mr. Gaziano began his trust career in 1968 in the Trust Operations and Administration departments at State Street Bank. In 1976, he continued his trust operations career at the private trust office of Loring, Wolcott & Coolidge in Boston. In 1984, he became the director of fiduciary services at Hutchins & Wheeler (which merged with Nixon Peabody LLP in 2003) and founded their consulting and outsourcing businesses.
Mr. Gaziano is presently responsible for the Trust, Tax and Investment Departments of Nixon Peabody’s Fiduciary Trust & Estate practice group in Boston. In addition, he is responsible for ten outsourcing arrangements in excess of $3 billion. In 1986, he established the firm’s trust consulting business, which continues today and specializes in consulting for community banks, law firms, private trustee offices, and university endowments.
In 1995, Mr. Gaziano also created the Trust Outsourcing Group, which provides privately labeled trust operational, tax, and administrative services to law firms and private trustee offices as well as registered investment advisors.
Mr. Gaziano is responsible for business development, implementation, and training as well as the day-to-day operations of the practice.
