Craig R. Tractenberg Named a Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer”7/7/2004 Philadelphia–Craig R. Tractenberg, a founding partner of the Pennsylvania office of Nixon Peabody LLP and a member of its Franchise and Distribution Team, has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer 2004 by Law & Politics magazine. The Law & Politics survey was also published in Philadelphia Magazine. Law & Politics compiled this list by sending ballots to 34,000 lawyers across Pennsylvania. The submissions were divided into practice areas and then reviewed by a panel of leading attorneys. The resulting “super lawyers” list represents what the publication considers the top five percent of attorneys in Pennsylvania. The same process was used to compile “super lawyer” lists in a number of other states as well. Mr. Tractenberg specializes in franchise and trademark enforcement litigation as well as insolvency matters. He has been involved in some of the largest and most complex franchise matters worldwide, including income reconstruction matters, reorganizations, financings, and mergers and acquisitions. He is an active member and has held leadership positions in the franchise committees of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, and has served as a topics and articles editor for the Franchise Law Journal. “Craig Tractenberg is one of the leading franchise lawyers in the country, and this recognition—by other attorneys—demonstrates the high regard in which he is held for his accomplishments,” said Harry P. Trueheart III, Nixon Peabody’s chairman and CEO. “Craig’s work, as well as that of Arthur Pressman, Andrew Loewinger, and the rest of our Franchise Team, have earned them much-deserved recognition nationally and internationally. The talented team’s move to Nixon Peabody was one of the top legal moves of the year.” |
