Roland Diniz is a member of the firm’s Global Finance practice group and serves as managing partner of the London office. He has extensive experience representing debt and equity investors, borrowers, lessees, and other participants in a wide variety of asset-based and other secured finance matters. He represents clients in leveraged and single investor equipment leasing, bilateral and syndicated lending, swap and other transactions.
In addition to U.S. domestic transactions, Roland has deep experience in cross-border finance, having advised clients in transactions with parties or assets located across Europe and Asia. In the asset finance area, he has structured and negotiated transactions involving manufacturing, power generating, and other facilities, and rolling stock, aircraft, and telecommunications equipment.
Roland also has extensive experience counseling clients in the U.S. and Europe regarding restructurings and the sale and purchase of loans and other claims under LSTA, LMA, and other documentation. Roland has spoken at conferences in the U.S. and Europe on asset finance and restructuring arrangements.
Roland is registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority as a Registered Foreign Lawyer.
