New York, NY. Peter Armstrong Egan has been named leader of Nixon Peabody’s nationally ranked Health Care practice.
Attorneys in Nixon Peabody’s Health Care practice advise hospitals and health systems, private equity firms, behavioral health providers, accountable care organizations and clinically integrated networks, management services organizations and digital health companies across a range of areas including: health care compliance, financing and transactions, managed care contracting and network development, health care data and cybersecurity and Medicare and Medicaid and other government payors.
“As the health care industry is in a state of constant reinvention and transformation, our attorneys are focused on working with our clients to secure a competitive advantage and clear the path to future success,” said Andrew I. Peter succeeds Michael Taubin as practice group leader. Michael will continue his focus on representing the continuum of health care providers from hospitals to federally qualified health centers to medical groups and management companies servicing those providers.
“Our group is doing cutting-edge work across the country,” said Pete Egan, Nixon Peabody’s newly minted health care practice group leader. “It is a privilege to help lead this team of extraordinary health care attorneys.”
