Hong Kong. Nixon Peabody CWL is pleased to announce that David Richardson, a seasoned corporate lawyer, has joined the firm in Hong Kong as counsel.
Qualified to practice in both Hong Kong and Canada’s British Columbia, David has participated in many of the pioneering listings on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK), including the first listed real estate agency group; the first Chinese, Australian, and Canadian mining companies listed on the exchange; and the first foreign company recognized by the SEHK as being from an acceptable jurisdiction under Chapter 19 of the Listing Rules.
“David is a leading corporate and corporate finance lawyer in Hong Kong, with specialized practices in mining projects and Canadian projects,” said Joanne Wu, co-managing partner of Nixon Peabody CWL. “He adds significant strength to our already robust corporate and corporate finance practices serving clients in Hong Kong and Mainland China, as well as U.S.-based and international clients.”
Before joining Nixon Peabody CWL, David practiced as a partner at two international law firms, most recently Dorsey & Whitney.
