Chicago, IL. Nixon Peabody advised IT service management company TradeHelm in its sale to a portfolio company of The Acacia Group, a values-driven private equity partnership.
TradeHelm is a market-leading provider of DevOps, quality assurance, cloud, and mobile development capabilities and managed services taking advantage of its near-shore, Argentina-based team.
“I’m thankful for Nixon Peabody and their team of attorneys,” said Manny Montejano, CEO of TradeHelm. “There were so many different moving parts, spanning multiple regions, and my team felt supported the whole way through.”
Nixon Peabody’s deal team was led by Corporate partners Brian Krob and David Brown, Complex Commercial Disputes partner Rich Tilghman, and associate Wes Gangi.
“It was an honor working closely with TradeHelm in completing this strategic transaction,” said Brian. “Through our close partnership, we were able to close this complex cross-border deal—not to mention in the midst of a global pandemic—without a hitch.”
The deal team also included Corporate partners Dennis Bouxsein, Yelena Gray, and Alexandra Lopez-Casero; Labor & Employment partner Brian Alcala; Intellectual Property counsel Jason Kunze; and Corporate associates Jenny Holmes and Denise DeArmond.
