Important New Changes to LIHTC Law Made by Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018

Congress just passed the new spending bill, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018.  It contains two very important changes to the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit.   Additional 9% allocation authority will be temporarily available and a new set-aside election, known as income averaging, can now be elected by owners.  Please click here for the Nixon Peabody Alert which discusses these new provisions in greater detail.
