Project Development in Africa

In conjunction with our “Doing Business and Investing in Africa” program, and immediately preceding, The Afribiz Foundation will host a day-long workshop on project preparation and development in Africa.

Attendees of the day-long workshop will receive valuable information on building full project development support programs including incubation, funding, technical, partnerships, and more.

Topics we’ll address include:

  • Developing projects in sectors, including energy, transportation, other infrastructure, industrial, and public services (health and education)
  • Developing a sustainable business model
  • Business model issues, including account ownership structure, communities, understanding requirements for funding, capacity, technology, financial models, environmental and market analysis, etc.
  • The technical capacity and/or connections needed to develop a bankable project

Who should attend?

Government agencies, private sector, developers, technical teams, technical support agencies, and other organizations that develop and/or support projects in Africa.
