The past few years have seen significant changes in the National Labor Relations Board’s interpretation and enforcement of the NLRA’s rights and obligations, in both union and non-union workforces. Among other leading cases, in Browning-Ferris the Board revised its test for joint employer status and in Babcock & Wilcox changed its standard for deferral to the arbitration process.

Join us for a panel discussion with candid insight from NLRB Board Member, Kent Hirozawa, to learn how recent Board decisions are impacting employers and employees today. Topics for discussion will include:

  • The Role of Arbitration: The Board’s deferral policy and class action waiver issues
  • The Changing Workplace: Independent contractors, joint employment, and temporary employee issues
