Join a panel discussion on the best way to approach the conversion of rental housing to cooperative or condominium status. Industry experts will provide an overview of key Attorney General issues for offering plan preparation, best marketing practices, the role of a reserve fund study, securing preferred lenders, and how to address building conditions and environmental issues in advance of the conversion process. Panelists will also discuss the laws governing conversions in New York, with a particular emphasis on tenants’ rights and planned renovations.
