Seth Levy, chairman and CEO of It Gets Better and partner at Nixon Peabody, will be co-presenting with Daniel Penchina, president of Voices for Progress, on the panel “Advocacy 101” at the It Gets Better Global Summit being held at Nixon Peabody's New York City office. This program will discuss advocacy, its importance in the fight for global LGBTQ+ acceptance and the obstacles to avoid in creating sustainable strategies. Brian Wenke, executive director of It Gets Better, will moderate. Seth will also be participating in a general Q&A session with the It Gets Better Project’s Board of Directors.
Ellie Altshuler, Nixon Peabody partner, will also be participating on the panel “Cause-Marketing and Influencer Engagement,” discussing the many opportunities Pride season brings for collaborations across the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, and how to ensure that cause-oriented partnerships are authentic and offer mutual benefit.
