Panelists will discuss the new laws and regulations that aim to protect tenants and shareholders and what property owners need to do to get into compliance. The panel will also profile the creation of the new Housing Protection Unit at the New York Attorney General’s Office, the New York City Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants, and the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal Tenant Protection Unit.
