Over the past few years, the National Labor Relations Board has been extremely active and its actions have significantly changed the legal landscape for both union and non-union workplaces. Join us on March 11 for an update on the latest developments and rulings from the NLRB and its impact on employers. Topics to be discussed will include:

  • Updates: Current board and general counsel
  • Workplace rules: Facially neutral workplace rules (The Boeing Co.); Purple Communications overturned (Cesars/Rio All-Suites); and confidentiality in workplace investigations (Apogee Retail)
  • Developments affecting union rights: Restoration of union dues checkoff rule (Valley Hospital); and joint employer status analysis (Hi Brand and appeals)
  • Union elections: Overturning Specialty Healthcare for unit definition standard (PCC Structurals); and new election rules
