We had been looking forward to hosting our annual Rhode Island CLE Seminar in May and connecting with all of you. Due to the current situation that our nation faces due to the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we will instead offer a series of webinars. This is the first one! Stay tuned for more throughout the year. We are happy to provide you with the CLE credits you need.

Reopening the Workplace During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Grab your lunch and join Nixon Peabody’s Labor & Employment team as they cover return to work questions local employers face. Topics will include:

  • OSHA considerations for safety in the workplace
  • Unemployment considerations
  • Employment handbooks and policies in the “new normal”
  • Litigation risk arising from COVID-19

Continuing Education

This course is eligible for 2.0 total credits. The Rhode Island Supreme Court issued an order suspending the CLE requirement for 2020. All CLE credits for the 2020 requirement can be carried over to satisfy the CLE requirements for 2021. Click here for Nixon Peabody continuing education details.
