Over the past year the COVID-19 pandemic has forced dramatic changes to dispute resolution, many of which will continue to have an impact as we navigate the ever changing “new normal.” Our panel will examine how to make virtual alternative dispute resolution (ADR) work for corporate counsel in the post-COVID world and beyond, and evaluate the dispute resolution techniques to consider. We will also examine the initiatives and focus on increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in ADR.

Join us as we discuss the following topics:

  • Why do you want ADR?
  • How has the pandemic changed the ADR process? A look at remote hearings versus in-person and its impact on the process
  • Legal developments in ADR
  • Drafting effective provisions for remote/virtual scenarios have brought new issues. What provisions should you consider?
  • Promoting greater diversity, equity, and inclusion in ADR, and next steps to advancing these important goals
