Albany, NY. Peter J. Millock, a senior leader in Nixon Peabody’s national health care practice, has been honored by Cabrini of Westchester at its annual Sharing in Mission dinner for his longstanding commitment to the industry.

Cabrini of Westchester is part of the Cabrini Eldercare Consortium and is a full-service geriatric care campus providing a continuum of care to elders and those with disabilities. Cabrini of Westchester is comprised of St. Cabrini Nursing Home, a 304 skilled nursing care and short term rehabilitation facility, Cabrini Certified Home Health Agency, St. Cabrini Nursing Home Long Term Home Health Care Program and both medical and social model adult day care programs. Cabrini of Westchester recently completed a major modernization project that resulted in increased square footage, state of the art accommodations, contemporary furnishing and a beautiful chapel complete with stained glass windows.

Peter, one of this year’s three Sharing in Mission honorees, focuses his practice on hospital-to-hospital alignments; affiliations among physicians, hospitals, long-term care providers and mental health and disability services providers; purchases and sales of nursing homes, clinics and medical practices; enforcement matters before New York State agencies; certificate of need and other applications requiring New York State agency approval; and Medicaid and other payor audits. Prior to joining the firm, Peter served for 15 years as general counsel to the New York State Department of Health. He is also a past chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Health Law Section.
