Los Angeles, CA. Los Angeles partner Jill H. Gordon has been appointed a member of Nixon Peabody’s Management Committee, adding a new voice to the committee that manages the business affairs and day-to-day operations of the firm. Led by Nixon Peabody CEO and Managing Partner Andrew I. Glincher, the Management Committee is focused on uncovering significant opportunities to better serve the firm’s clients, which could include developing a new service area or having deeper resources in a specific location or practice.

A partner in Nixon Peabody’s health care practice, Jill advises academic medical centers, health systems, sub-acute facilities, surgery centers, physician organizations, and other provider entities. In addition, Jill represents telehealth companies and others creating and deploying a variety of digital health products and services. Recognized as a leading lawyer in the health care industry, Best Lawyers named Jill as 2016 Health Care Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Los Angeles.
Beyond her busy practice, Jill has been quoted and published in more than 50 media outlets. She is called upon by the media to discuss trending topics and issues in the health care industry. A frequent lecturer, Jill speaks to such organizations as the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Hospital Association of Southern California.
Jill is past president of the Health Law Committee of the Business Section of the California Bar Association and was a longtime member of the Executive Committee of the Health Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She currently serves on the advisory board of the Learning Rights Law Center. Jill is a graduate of Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. She earned a MHA in Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine and she received her undergraduate degree from Sarah Lawrence College.
