Nixon Peabody represents Lifetime Brands in acquisition of kitchen product line from Wilton Brands

Jericho, NY. A Nixon Peabody legal team led by Long Island corporate partner Allan Cohen served as counsel to Lifetime Brands, Inc. in a deal to purchase Copco® , a kitchen product line owned by Wilton Brands LLC. Copco creates travel mugs, thermal cups, tumblers, tea kettles, and other kitchen organization products.

Based in Garden City, New York, Lifetime Brands is a leading provider of kitchenware, tableware, cookware, and other home products. Lifetime owns a number of popular and well-known kitchenware and tableware brands including Farberware®, KitchenAid®, Mikasa®, and Pfaltzgraff®.

This is Lifetime Brands’ second recent acquisition. In August, Lifetime Brands purchased the kitchen division of Focus Products Group which includes Amco Houseworks®, Chicago™ Metallic and Swing-A-Way® brands.

In addition to Allan Cohen, Nixon Peabody’s deal team included associates Jason Chimon, Kristen Marotta, and Lauren Arnold.
