Nixon Peabody represents Hypomania Content to bring best-selling books to television

Los Angeles, CA. Hypomania Content, which develops, produces, and markets a diverse slate of original programming across multiple media platforms, has brokered a deal to work with FremantleMedia to bring best-selling author Heather Lende’s books to television.

Nixon Peabody Los Angeles partner Seth Levy and associate Ellie Altshuler represented Hypomania, which will work with FremantleMedia to develop Find the Good, a drama series inspired by Lende’s memoir of the same name, and her earlier memoir, If You Lived Here, I’d Know Your Name.

Lende’s books will serve as the inspiration for the character of Heather, a small-town Alaska obituary writer who investigates the lives of her recently deceased neighbors. The drama will be pitched to U.S. and international channels.
