Boston, MA. The 2018 edition of IAM Patent 1000—The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners has recommended Nixon Peabody’s Patent Prosecution and Litigation practice, while also naming six of its attorneys as industry leaders.

The firm was recognized for prosecution in Illinois, and in Massachusetts the firm was recommended for prosecution and received bronze band ranking for litigation.

Recognized as the definitive directory dedicated to identifying the world’s leading patent services providers, the IAM Patent 1000 list follows a five-month research process undertaken by a team of full-time analysts.

According to IAM, “One thing rights holders love about Nixon Peabody is that its lawyers always give it to them straight; frank and straightforward counsel is the order of the day, meaning no money is squandered on seeking protection for inventions that are, for example, too similar to what is already on the market and will not go anywhere.”

The following attorneys were recognized as leaders in their field:

  • Daniel Burnham, Illinois
    Leading lawyer for patent prosecution
  • Jeffrey Costellia, Washington DC
Recognized as one of the world’s leading patent practitioners
  • Ronald Eisenstein, Boston

  • Janet Garetto, Chicago
