Nixon Peabody attorney recognized by Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys

Boston, MA. Marx P. Calderon, an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Boston office, received the “Analisa Smith-Perez Rising Star Award” this week from the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys (MAHA). The award is given to a young attorney who is actively engaged, committed to and, advocates for the advancement of the Hispanic and legal communities.

Marx’s practice focuses on complex commercial disputes and government investigations and white collar defense. Marx has been heavily involved with the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) since law school where he served as the Region I Representative for the HNBA Law Student Division. He is currently a Region I Deputy Regional President for Young Lawyers & Law Students and the National Treasurer for the HNBA’ s Young Lawyers Division.

Along with his involvement with the HNBA, Marx serves on the Board of Directors for Sociedad Latina, an organization that serves at-risk youth in the Boston area.
