Alicia Anderson focuses her practice on employment litigation, counseling and commercial litigation. She represents businesses in federal and state court and before the NLRB and administrative agencies.
Much of my work involves employment-related litigation, including wrongful termination, harassment and wage-and-hour compliance. I have worked on the successful defense of class-actions and lawsuits filed by single plaintiffs. I represent parties ranging from leading employers in the health care and manufacturing industries to emerging technology and new media startups.
I work closely with Nixon Peabody’s labor relations team to provide strategic advice and aggressive representation in traditional labor matters.
I have handled general commercial disputes involving contract, copyright, trademark, trade secret and fraud.
As union membership continues to grow in California, I see California employers playing a big role in the evolution of traditional labor law.
