Laura Au is an associate of Nixon Peabody CWL in Hong Kong and a member of the Litigation team. She advises clients on dispute resolution arising from corporations and individuals on a broad range of matters.
I represent clients primarily on commercial litigation and international arbitration. I help to resolve their difficult situations and navigate the complex rules and procedures of these contentious proceedings in an expeditious and cost-effective manner.
My main focus is on disputes pertaining to contracts, tort, trust, insolvency, employment, commercial fraud, probate and inheritance.
With the considerable refinement in its arbitral regime in recent years and particularly in 2015, commercial arbitration will continue to be a viable alternative to traditional court proceedings in Hong Kong for resolving both domestic and international disputes.
