Rafael Castillo has a law educational background and more than 15 years of experience providing docket and calendar services to clients consistent with the firm’s overall firm risk management policies in the areas of Civil Litigation and Complex Commercial Litigation.
As a Managing Clerk, I focus on providing high level, consistent and reliable services to clients. I support the Litigation group by making sure that all events and deadlines are calendared and docketed in accordance with the firm’s risk management policy and best practices guidelines, and disseminate this information using the firm’s latest technology tools. I also provide the group with research and updates on the latest amendments to local, state, administrative and federal procedural rules and keep myself abreast of pending changes.
I work closely with the Asbestos practice group, providing calendar and docketing service, routing e-filed documents and notices and coordinating the deposition schedule for attorney assignments.
I see more effective use of the firm’s information technology tools in case management to better serve clients and substantially reduce litigation costs.
