Chloe Gordon is an associate in our Community Development Finance group. She assists equity investors and syndicators using tax credits, including low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs), to finance community development projects throughout the United States.
I work with equity investors and syndicators to structure transactions that qualify for federal LIHTCs and other tax credits and benefits and involve layers of public and private financing, including tax-exempt bonds. I conduct due diligence, identify key issues in the early stages of the deal process and find solutions that achieve our clients’ business goals. Additionally, I draft and negotiate equity transaction documents.
In light of recent tax reforms, I anticipate increased interest in the LIHTC industry. I look forward to helping our clients navigate new opportunities that will benefit communities across the United States.
