Irene is a trainee solicitor of Nixon Peabody CWL. During her training, she will assist partners and other lawyers in all areas of legal practice in the firm.
Currently working in the Litigation Department, my experience covers contractual disputes, debt recovery actions, bankruptcy and winding-up actions, tenancy disputes, new territories land matters, recovery of possession and non-contentious probate matters. I also have experience in advising on directors’ duties, matters relating to Companies Ordinance, cross-border employment, forensic audits and intellectual property.
Prior to my traineeship, I worked at a business planning and analysis department in a major IT solutions company in Hong Kong, advising on annual operation plan and cost forecast, conducting business reviews on key industry sectors and drawing SWOT analysis for new business initiatives.
Technology, economic, social and political landscapes are shifting more rapidly than ever. It is essential that the legal profession remains agile in response to the emerging needs of clients by formulating efficient up-to-date solutions and stays tuned to the evolving case law and legislations which are adapting to the new global era.
