Jeanette Suarez is a member of Nixon Peabody’s Complex Commercial Disputes practice. She represents corporations and individuals in a diverse variety of matters.
I focus my practice on complex commercial disputes representing clients across a broad spectrum of industries in all phases of litigation. I ensure matters run smoothly by assisting with everything from pre-trial motions to trials, post-trials and appeals.
Currently, I defend an automobile manufacturer in matters involving the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. I conduct and defend the depositions of consumers, experts and corporate representatives, as well as participate in settlement conferences. I have trial experience, both as a first and second chair, and have obtained complete defense verdicts.
There has been a lot of focus and attention on harassment and equal treatment in the workplace. I’m watching this closely to see what specific issues will come up in litigating such matters.
