Kimberly Wojcik handles transactions involving renewable energy development encompassing solar, wind, and biomass from large utility-scale facilities to distributed generation and residential and community solar projects. She represents clients, including developers, tax-equity investors, syndicators, and lenders, on issues relating to the acquisition, development, and operation of projects nationwide.
Prior to joining NP, Kimberly worked at a big-four accounting firm, with a focus on state and federal tax credits, and at an energy company in a role dedicated to expanding its renewables portfolio.
I work with clients to close transactions involving renewable energy investment tax credits, infusing capital into new developments throughout the country. I handle due diligence review, drafting and negotiating tax equity and loan documents, navigating begun construction requirements as well as overall project management.
Combating climate change, States will continue to create innovative programs and be a driving force for renewable energy development and utilities seeking to meet customer demand. Energy storage will continue to evolve and play a valuable role in energy security and reliability. With a new administration, I am excited to see what changes will occur and how the Tax Code might be used to promote renewables and resilient infrastructure.
