Please join us for a special evening in support of the LGBTQ+ movement in Chicago, recognizing the progress we have made and the challenges we are still working to overcome. The program will feature keynote speaker Kristen Kaza, Director of Public Engagement & Programs of the Chicago Reader and Co-Director of Reunion Chicago, an event and creative space focused on fostering social connections and joy among the LGBTQ+ community. A networking reception celebrating Chicago Pride will follow.

Kristen Kaza is a cultural producer, community enthusiast and activist. Kristen has been “partying with a purpose” for 12 years, building intersectional and intentional programs and audiences that foster community connection and joy. In 2012 Kristen founded No Small Plans Productions, which has produced events for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Nike, Navy Pier, the Ace Hotels and more. In 2019, she returned to the Chicago Reader as Director of Public Engagement & Programs for the iconic media brand. She is also the Co-Director of Reunion Chicago. Located in Humboldt Park, Reunion Chicago is a sliding scale event and creative space prioritized for LGBTQ folks, communities of color and women.
