Washington, D.C. Nixon Peabody LLP was engaged by Building America’s Future to assist New York City in obtaining federal relief funding in the wake of natural disaster Hurricane Sandy. The firm’s government relations team, led by the Honorable Tom Reynolds, was successful in helping to ensure that New York City receives some of the more than $50 billion disbursement.

The Hurricane Sandy Relief Bill was passed by Congress earlier this week and was signed into law by President Obama.
