My focus
As a member of the Healthcare practice group, I support the firm’s attention to hospitals, medical device companies, health systems, mergers, and acquisitions. As a member of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Team, I attend to HIPAA compliance, data breaches, and client navigation of corrective action plans.
Looking ahead
Artificial intelligence is the future. Its use has fortified the interplay between cybersecurity, data privacy, and medical practice. Given this evolving market dynamic, the fiduciary duty to safeguard protected health information persists. Moreover, the ethical governance of artificial intelligence within organizations will require organic diligence. Here, counsel expertise will certainly endure as the new age unfolds.
