Jessica Lenoir focuses her practice on intellectual property protection and counseling for life sciences, chemistry, and biotechnology for both academic and industrial clients. Jessica received her PhD in interdisciplinary biological sciences with a focus in molecular biology from Northwestern University in Illinois, and received her BA in biochemistry from Hiram College in Ohio.
I help clients protect their intellectual property by drafting and prosecuting patents across a wide variety of technologies, including gene expression, molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, personalized medicine, therapeutics, cancer biology, applications of natural products (e.g., proteins derived from microbes and plants), and stem cell related technologies. I also generate ST.25 and ST.26 compliant sequence listings for US and international patent applications and assist in their prosecution.
Patent practitioners recognize the need to stay informed of cutting edge research and trends in order to strongly protect intellectual property.
