I focus my practice on patent prosecution for innovative technologies, the early phases of development, and strategic management of clients’ patent portfolios, including patent opinion work. I have significant experience with patent applications across a wide range of industries, including semiconductor, computer and software, telecommunications, and mechanical devices.
In addition, my practice encompasses appeal before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, litigation support, and counsel on foreign and international applications.
Wearable technology is rapidly becoming mainstream and the pandemic has further accelerated its adoption. In the coming years, wearable products across a broad spectrum of niches will enter the market, ranging from disposable fitness gadgets to medical-grade devices for monitoring patients with chronic conditions. Concomitant with the “wearable revolution” will be a surge of competition in the intellectual property space, necessitating industry stakeholders to prioritize patent protection and formulate IP strategy in tandem with developing a business plan.
