Michael Lindsay represents employers in all aspects of their labor and employment matters. He primarily handles all types of employment related litigation. Mike also advises major employers in all of their union related activities and defends those employers before the National Labor Relations Board.
I advise clients on labor matters, handle employment litigation and try cases whether in courts or before administrative agencies, primarily the National Labor Relations Board.
Having been a labor and employment lawyer in Los Angeles for 30 years, I have handled just about every possible sort of employee/employer matter that could occur.
Most recently, I have been advising Kaiser Permanente in connection with its various union related matters, which included the related hearings and unfair labor practice charges in the two largest union elections conducted by the NLRB since the 1930s.
I work closely with a team of attorneys in Los Angeles and throughout the West Coast handling employment litigation for a number of clients large and small. Together we handle wage and hour class actions, single plaintiff employee litigation, discrimination and other employment claims of various sorts as well as trade secret litigation. We have developed efficient and proactive methods meeting all of our clients’ needs and desires in connection with these matters. My role is to serve as trial counsel and to provide strategic guidance and direction on these cases.
Employment will always be of critical importance both in the workplace and in society as a whole. Importantly, we are in the midst of an enormous shift in workplaces across the country as the Baby Boom generation retires and steps away from the workplace leaving employers to adapt to the new generations of workers while trying to maintain productivity and the institutional knowledge base so critical to effective operations.
