In my role, I use my administrative and legal skills to support our group’s clients and attorneys, particularly those brokering affordable housing developments and joint venture real estate transactions central to New York, New Jersey, and Washington DC. I ensure efficient communication among multiple parties while managing the review and negotiation of title insurance policies and ALTA 9 surveys. In addition, I conduct thorough due diligence by preparing documents integral to transactions such as purchase and sale agreements, deeds, Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act (FRIPTA) filings, organizational documents, tax exemption letters, and more.
As an active member of the NP Black Staff Resource Group, I contribute by circulating current events pertaining to culture and policy.
I foresee the prioritization of affordable and equitable housing access within the United States at all levels of government. In addition, I anticipate academia and public policy will focus on real estate development as a viable solution to improve the well-being of individuals and their respective communities. Through my role, I look forward to being a part of this solution in the near future.
