  Prenatal genetic testing suit bounced by Rhode Island top court

  This article covers a Rhode Island Supreme Court appellate win in favor of client Corning Inc., which faced a lawsuit seeking damages for harm caused by a genetic condition. The court joined an “overwhelming majority” of state courts that have refused to recognize that life, even a life with severe impairments, is a legal injury.
