My commercial litigation practice includes managing contract disputes and related litigation. I represent both local and international clients in a variety of industries, including construction and real estate development, life sciences, food and beverage, medical device, and higher education institutions. My work focuses on resolving breach of commercial contracts, construction and development disputes, as well as defending against products liability claims.
My experience includes investigating alleged sexual misconduct and general litigation on behalf of institutions of higher education. In addition, I represent NCAA member institutions and coaches in matters pending before the NCAA Committee of Infractions.
This quickly changing landscape with an ever-growing remote workforce has only heightened the trend of companies dealing with an increase in data and therefore it is paramount for businesses to continually evaluate and improve their data maps and retention policies to streamline data preservation and collection to both ensure compliance with changing regulations and to effectively respond to litigation. We’re developing strategies for clients to proactively identify and mitigate risks in this area. In addition, Title IX compliance remains a subject of national concern and debate therefore educational institutions will face challenging issues as they adapt to an evolving landscape regarding the role of school disciplinary proceedings.
