My practice is focused on helping clients approach their financial lives in a more thoughtful manner. I provide advice and guidance on complex tax and financial planning issues.
Financial planning encompasses many different areas including: tax planning, tax compliance, retirement planning, estate planning, college planning, investment management, insurance and risk management and employee benefits planning. I spend a lot of time thinking about how to integrate these components in order to develop a plan that addresses my clients’ goals and objectives.
My job is to incorporate the financial considerations as well as any family and emotional considerations for each client’s situation. Many times there are trade-offs between risk, financial goals, tax implications and personal values. I enjoy spending time working through these varied issues with clients.
We continue to see companies shifting the burden of retirement saving to employees, people living longer in retirement, individuals facing changes in tax rates and investors experiencing a lower total return environment than in the past. While each concern can be looked at individually, we often find that the most appropriate solution involves integrating multiple components.
