Liz Nagle

Liz Nagle works with clients to manage disputes, investigations and related litigation in diverse industries including credit reporting, affordable housing, transportation and commercial real estate. She previously worked as a book editor at a major New York publishing house.

What do you focus on?

Complex Commercial Litigation

My commercial litigation practice encompasses Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) claims, ERISA, commercial contract enforcement, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, landlord-tenant disputes, False Claims Act investigations and intellectual property protection.

Pro Bono

I also work on a variety of pro bono matters, serving individuals and nonprofit entities in the areas of immigration and asylum, social security benefits and public housing.

What do you see on the horizon?

I see an increase in ERISA litigation and in trade secret litigation following the passage of the Federal Defend Trade Secrets Act. I’m monitoring developments in this and other areas of “soft” intellectual property relevant to a broad range of business types.
