Richard Stein is a member of the firm's M&A and Corporate Transactions Group. His practice focuses on the general corporate representation of a variety of emerging and mature technology, manufacturing and life science entities. Richard serves as counsel to these clients in corporate transactions ranging from venture capital financings to public offerings.
Richard's practice is comprised of significant components of M&A and securities work. He has handled numerous domestic and international purchases and sales of entities. Richard's securities practice includes a variety of equity offerings, such as initial and secondary public offerings and shelf registration statements. He is also regularly involved in advising clients with respect to securities compliance issues.
Richard also has extensive experience in representing clients in a variety of complex contractual matters. He has participated in a large number of sophisticated information technology, licensing, outsourcing, product distribution and related transactions.

Richard is a member of the Boston Bar Association and he is currently a member of the Advisory Board of the Gift of Hearing Foundation. Richard formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Boston Cares, a non-profit entity that conducts volunteer programs throughout the Greater Boston area.
