Litigants need to know their high-value suits are ready for trial.
They don’t want to be questioning if their lawyers are prepared or worrying if they’ve identified the most important issues to the judge and jury, the settlement value and the range of outcomes if the suit is tried.
Our NP Second Opinion® service helps clients facing troublesome high-value cases.
It’s a limited engagement providing independent assessment of litigation matters when we are not serving as trial counsel. It involves a senior trial counsel review by a team of attorneys with appropriate trial experience and includes the option of a mock trial.
Clients gain an objective perspective from experienced trial counsel providing a candid, confidential evaluation of the case and existing counsel’s performance.
The optional mock trial exercise requires existing trial counsel to organize and present the case in advance of trial, allowing the client to observe their performance in a trial setting—testing trial themes and observing mock jurors during deliberation. It also provides the client and counsel excellent opportunities for full and open communication regarding the strengths and weaknesses of the case and settlement value.
