A member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Disputes practice, Joe serves as vice chair of Nixon Peabody’s Litigation department, chair of the Aviation practice, and chair of NP Trial®, an international team of the firm’s most successful and experienced trial lawyers. Representing major private and public corporations and their executives, Joe has tried over 100 cases to verdict in both federal and state courts throughout the country and has successfully represented clients before arbitration tribunals around the world.
MCCA is honoring 15 attorneys from across the nation who have achieved success through innovative, consistent, and proactive business development. The organization selected the 2021 Rainmakers from an exceptional group of prominent attorneys who have a proven record over the course of several years, have compiled books of business exceeding $5 million annually, and who have contributed significantly to their communities while demonstrating a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
As Nixon Peabody’s chief diversity officer, Joe oversees the firm’s strategy to attract, retain, and promote talented people with exceptional ability from a broad range of backgrounds. Joe is also past chairman of the American Board of Trial Advocates’ National Trial Academy.
