Hong Kong. Nixon Peabody’s Hong Kong office (Nixon Peabody CWL) is pleased to announce that Stephen Leung has joined the global law firm’s Corporate practice as partner, and Tony Tse has been promoted to consultant, as the office continues to expand its corporate, commercial, and regulatory practices.

I have been working closely with Tony since he joined the firm as a senior associate in 2018 and have experienced firsthand his legal talent and business mindset.”
Stephen Leung has significant experience in IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, secondary fundraising, and other Hong Kong and overseas capital markets transactions. He also advises Hong Kong-listed companies on corporate governance and legal and regulatory compliance matters. Stephen earned a Master of Science degree in chemistry from Imperial College London, Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law London, and International Economic Law LLM degree from the University of Warwick.
Tony Tse focuses his practice on private equity and investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, and financial regulations. He also has substantial experience with IPOs, corporate finance, and financial and securities regulations matters with a particular focus on the HKEx Listing Rules and the Securities and Futures Ordinance. Prior to joining Nixon Peabody CWL, Tony worked as senior legal counsel in a large corporate group whose holding company listed its securities on stock exchanges in the United States, mainland China, and Hong Kong. Before that, he served as senior vice president and legal counsel at the fund management arm of a Fortune Global 500 corporate group.
